What Ideogram Vector collects, why, and who processes it
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Ideogram Vector ("we") collects and uses personal data when you use our website and vector generation service.
Data We Collect
- Account data: name, email address, password hash, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google.
- Generation data: the prompts you write, the options you choose, the images you upload for tracing, and the SVG files we generate for you.
- Billing data: your plan, credit balance and transaction history. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address, used for security and aggregate analytics.
How We Use Data
- To run the Service: generate vectors, store your history, and manage credits and subscriptions
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse
- To send account emails such as verification and password reset
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used so we can improve it
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your prompts or images to train our own models.
Service Providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service:
- fal.ai runs Ideogram's vector models. Your prompts, reference images and uploaded images are sent to fal.ai to produce each result.
- Stripe processes payments and subscriptions.
- Cloudflare hosts the application, database and file storage where your SVG files are kept.
- Email and analytics providers deliver account emails and measure aggregate traffic.
Each provider may process data in countries other than yours under its own privacy terms.
Retention
Your generated SVGs stay in your history until you delete them or close your account. Uploaded source and reference images are sent for processing and are not stored in your history. Billing records are kept as long as required by tax and accounting law.
Your Rights
You can view and delete your vectors on the history page, update your profile in settings, and delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export or restrict the processing of your data. Contact us to make a request.

Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the website or by email.
